96 is a story of love which takes us back to the memories of schooling,crush,love hence nostalgic. Performance of 'TRISHA' as "jaanu" was tremendous,it was not only the heart of Ram gets beaten out but also each fans of this movie. It was a goose bump movement with the entry of Trisha in very first scene along with the BGM. That yellow kurthi flaunted online where people gone mad off! It's very easy to imagine this for the one who had seen the movie, otherwise I would say you really missed a very good movie.

Trisha brought the character of "Jaanu" like effortlessly it seems. No exaggeration in make up,hair style or performance just it feels like next door girl but unique. Not every movie would withstand in people's heart,if it lives then the entire credit goes to the performance of actors and the movie makers.
96 mainly revolves around the character Jaanu and the love between Jaanu and Ram who is a professional photographer and lives in the golden memories of Jaanu eventhough Jaanu gets married later. It takes us back to our memories of untold love,broken love etc. Song called "life of Ram" is about being single and trying to forget the pain of love, rest of the songs are mesmerising, also few beautiful melodies of Illayaraja is presented once again, even the eyes and single strand of hair of Trisha speaks voluminous words , her expression which is always light weighted but very deep, especially her expressive eyes which brought impact on audience and direct connect with their emotions.
Eventhough this movie has been remade in several languages the presentation & performance of Trisha is noteworthy.The emotional love content of the movie is communicated with great background score. Director Premkumar made us to sit on the edge of the seat expecting them to get united somehow but the movie takes several twist by breaking their unconditional love. What comes to my mind is often "What a great movie" Eventhough the movie is about an unconditional love not even a single kiss scene is present,without which a love movie cannot be expected to made.
96 totally relate to big group of audience like who wishes to reveal love but fails, who loves somebody truly,who wishes to be in love with someone and how fate beautifully plays it's game to break true lovers sometimes. It's very rare to see such good movies in today's trend.Who can say a love story have not happened in their lives. Overall 96 is an emotional & unconditional love story. Don't miss this beautiful breeze!
