Trisha -an inspirational sparkle

Trisha Krishnan, 'Queen of South India' known for her performance. Simply no doubt that she's also a lady Superstar. It's not very easy to hold this industry for two decades in her beautiful hands. Perhaps she appeared in few music videos, She was later approached for an acting role in the Tamil movie Lesa Lesa by Indian film director Priyadarshan, which marked the beginning of her professional career as an actress. So it's clearly visible that God had various plans for her.

She had appeared in a supporting role, 1999 jodi movie, then first lead role in "mounam pesiyadhe" pairing with Suriya in 2002. Her performance was nevertheless simple, neat and had a great scope in this industry.

She became all rounder and rose to fame starring in the successful films, Saamy (2003), Ghilli (2004) and Aaru (2005) in Tamil cinema and Varsham (2004), Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005) and Athadu (2005) in Telugu cinema. She secured her first Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress in a Lead role for Varsham in 2004. She went on to win the award two more times for Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005) and Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule (2007). In 2010, she made her Bollywood début in Khatta Meetha. She has seen in her career best performances in Abhiyum Naanum (2008), Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010), Kodi and '96 (2018).

She has done many movies and most of her exemplary works are living in people's hearts even today. One can easily say hey! it's our Jessie others can say hey! it's our Jaanu. From her debut to till now, she has always been grooming, evolving, developing, improving. She looks very young and still she's young because one cannot say getting into 30 or 40 is a kind of being old. Age is just a number, and she's a perfect example for it.

Trisha's attitude is very down to earth, super cool, calm lady she never took her success as taken for granted nor with great pride. She has always been very inspirational, focussing excessively in her career, unmarried yet it serves as an example how a woman could lead her life dignified and independent.

An extraordinary woman in Trisha's life is her mother Uma Krishnan. She had been offered various roles by several Tamil filmmakers and actors including Kamal Hasaan, but turned them down, as she wanted to concentrate on Trisha's career.

She accompanies her in shoots, events, She has been the pillar of her strength and has stood by her like a rock. Currently Trisha is residing with her mother and grandmother.

An ardent animal lover, Trisha has been the Goodwill Ambassador of PETA. In 2010, Trisha collaborated with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in issuing a public appeal to domesticate stray dogs rather than craving for pedigreed foreign breeds. She was also the Goodwill Ambassador for the "Angel for Animals" campaign organized by PETA in 2010, encouraging people to adopt homeless dogs. PETA praised Trisha for her work, and sent her an appreciation letter highlighting her animal rescue work and efforts to encourage people to adopt Indian community dogs.

Trisha was honored by UNICEF And She is the first actor from South India to be bestowed with the UNICEF celebrity advocate status. It was really a great achievement which inspired a lot of women including myself.

She voiced the rights of young people, especially girls. The actor supported the efforts to address problems faced by children in Tamil Nadu and Kerala such as anaemia, early marriage, labour and child abuse. Questions about her recognition by UNICEF were even asked in competitive exams. She committed herself to creating more awareness on health, education, nutrition and protection of children, especially the adolescents and young people in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Trisha has always been hard working in nature without which she couldn't have come so far. She predominantly worked in Tamil, Telugu , then malayalam, mostly she has been recognised in the south.

Still she's giving tough competition to newcomers and old survivors. Having the crown of victory for two decades that too in a male dominated industry of cinema is not a cakewalk. Her boldness could be witnessed in the Jallikattu issue where she was provoked by some misunderstanding among few people yet she handled such things brilliantly and came out of it. She embraced herself with inevitable victories.

She looks not only very beautiful but also very cheerful, her smile could vanish stress, she has always been a magic, innocent, brilliant in and out. How she handles everything calmly also impresses me personally.

A girl should be two things: who and what she wants. She is a very independent woman and I admire her as a person, as a woman achiever more than as her fan. Even today when my family members brought me marriage proposals I stubbornly reject them since I have always felt I've a lot of things to do and I used to see Trisha as an example of being independent even at her 30's then why can't I? Being ourself is an important thing. To achieve this we need to sacrifice a lot of hours, lot of leisure just to accomplish our love, our success.

Trisha is always magical. There is no limit to what a woman can achieve. It's limitless like the sky. Here is the woman whom I personally adore that's "Trisha" . She's both classy and fabulous. Happy women's day to all women who are willing to achieve something in their life and reach somewhere so called "success".

A successful woman is the one who can build a firm foundation with bricks other have thrown at her and that's what real women empowerment is.

Take your time to achieve, and be successful.

"Happy Women's day"
